Rajasthan Launches Scheme For Energy Conservation

On June 27,2013 government of Rajasthan launched an energy scheme called Mukhyamantri Bijli Bachat Lamp Yojana for energy conservation.

 State Government will provide 2 CFL free bulb to all electricity consumers in villages and BPL consumers in urban areas.This scheme will be in power till August 2013.

53 lakh families will be benifited with this scheme.To distribute lamps special camps will be organized.State Government will spend Rs. 100 crore on this mission.The purpose of this scheme is to save energy and conservation of environment.
 

With the use of these one crore six lakh CFL  Rs.93 crore electricity will be saved and consumer will save Rs. 278 crore per year in the state.
