Rafael Nadal and Serena William are Titleholder of French Open 2013

On June 9,2013 Rafael Nadal didn't miss his 8th Men's Singles Title of the French Open Tournament 2013.He beats Spanish tennis player David Ferrer with three sets 6-3,6-2,6-3.


He also created history,he became the first player to win 8 singles title at the same Grand Slam Tournament.Overall he had won 12 Grand Slam Titles.

He lost only one match out of 60 matches he played at Paris.Last year he defeated sic time Roland Winner Bjorn Borg with his seventh title.

Robin Soldering in 2009 was able to register victory over him at Roland garros.

Serena William, on June 8,2013 she also made it for her second French open title.In the final's she defeated another tennis sensation Maria Sharapova with straight sets by 6-4,6-4.Till now she had won 16 Grand Slam title.

It was first face off between two top contenders of the Title since 1995.

Talking about doubles,Russian pair Elina Vesnina and Caterina Makarova awarded with women's double title,they defeated tennis star of Italy Sara Irrani and Roberta Vinchi by 7-5,7-2.

In Men's Doubles Title,American bob and Mike Bryan won their record 14th major double title by defeating Michael Llodra and Nicolas Mahut of France 6-4,4-6,7-6.

Stephan Houdet won men's wheelchair final against Shingo Kunieda.Frantisek Cermak and Lucie Hradecka won mixed doubles title at French Open defeating Daniel Nestor and Kristina Mladenovic by 1-6,4-6,10-6.

Christian Garin won boys singles title after defeating Alexander Zverev .

Kyle Edmund and Frederico Ferreira Silva won Boy's Doubles title after defeating Christian Garin and Nicolas Jarry.
