Manjeet Singh Of India Bags Silver in 3rd China Open Boxing Tournament
On June 22,2013 Manjeet Singh achieved Silver Medal for India at third China Open boxing tournament.
In the final of super heavy weight boxing category he faced off local competitor Akepeer Yusuf.He became the only Indian boxer to reach the final of the 3rd China Open Boxing Tournament.It was his first international tournament.Tournament held at Guiyang,China.
The Indian Team men returns from the event with one silver and three bronze medals won by Sunil Kumar(52 kg) Ajay Kumar(56 kg) and Jaideep(75k g).
