The train starts from Banihal Railway Station to Qazigund through Pir Panchal mountain Range.
Train passes from 11.1km long Pir Panchal Railway tunnel,which is also the longest tunnel of India and is a part of 17.7 Km Qazigund Banihal Railway track.

G-8 Summit was held on June 17-18 2013 at Lough Erne Resort, a five star hotel,Northern Ireland.It was sixth G-8 Summit to be held in the UK.

The official theme of the summit was tax evasion and transparency.Syrian civil war dominated the discussions.A seven point plan was agreed to after much debate.Another agreements include sharing of tax information,new rules for mining companies.

G-8 nations agreed that oil,gas and mining companies should report payments to the government and likewise government shoul report the resources they obtain.this step was taken to collect taxes from first world companies.

10:- Summit Meeting Between China and US Presidents

A Summit meeting between the US President Barack Obama and China's President Xi Jinping was held in California June 2013.

After nine hour of talks,they remained afar on cyber security issues,which castes shadow on bilateral ties.They agreed to work together on climatic changes and denuclearisation of Korean Peninsula.

On June 11,2013 China Launched its 5th successful manned space mission with three astronauths including a woman.

Rocket Launch was watched by President Xi Jinping,Shenzhou take off from Jiuquan Satellite launch Center in Gansu Province for 15 day long mission where it woul dock with Tiangong-1 space lab orbiting around the earth.

3:- NSDA(National Skill development Agency) target skilling 500 million citizens by 2022

Indian Government constituted autonomous body for skilling 500 million citizens named as NSDA(National Skill development Agency) which would coordinate the efforts of private and government sector.


2:- India Grants $160 million to Nepal for Power Projects

India grants loan of $160 million to Nepal for three power projects,under an commitment made by Indian Government during visit to India by Nepal's Prime Minister.

Three Projects for which loan is granted are:

1. 220-KVA Koshi Corridor Transmission Line.
2. 132-KVA Solu Corridor Transmission Line.
3. 32MW Rahughat Hydropower Project.

EXIM bank of India informed about the sanctioning of loan.

1:- India and Australia Boosts Point On Maritime Cooperation







India and Australia both agreed to hold joint naval exercise in 2015 to boost their defense cooperation to an upper level and support strategic partnership.

India's defense minister A.K. Antony and Australian counterpart Stephen Smith discussed shared strategic and security interests including maritime security and bilateral defense cooperation.

Both of them agreed for naval exchanges to build confidence between two navies and work towards a bilateral maritime exercise in 2015.

Mr Antony also accepted invitation form Mr. Stephen for Indian Naval Ships participation in the prestigious International Fleet Review(IFR) to be held in Sydney this October.
